Medial tarsal arteries

The medial tarsal arteries (Latin: arteriae tarsales mediales) are two to three branches arising from the dorsalis pedis artery. These arteries ramify on the medial border of the foot and join the medial malleolar network. The medial tarsal arteries supply the medial malleolus, ankle joint, and tarsal bones.
