The nasalis (also nasalis muscle, latin: musculus nasalis) is a paired facial muscle located in the area of the nose, which is responsible for narrowing and widening the nostrils.

The nasalis consists of two parts: the transverse part (or transverse nasalis) that compresses the nostril, and the alar part (or alar nasalis) that widens it.

Like other facial muscles the nasalis is innervated by the facial nerve (CN VII).

Arterial blood is supplied to the nasalis via branches of the facial artery and the infraorbital branch of the maxillary artery.
