Veins of upper limb

Veins of the upper limb are blood vessels that drain deoxygenated blood from the tissue of the arm, forearm, and hand and return it to the right atrium of the heart and the systemic circulation. The blood vessels providing venous drainage from the upper limb can be categorized into two groups - the superficial veins and deep veins. Between the deep and superficial veins of the upper limb run the so-called perforating veins that connect the two venous systems.
